Review useful research in your documentation folder.
Week 1 Day 2
Essay 1: Understand expected schedule and go over questions for essay 1.
Homework: Write essay 1.
Week 1 Day 3
By now you should have saved your finished essay 1.
Today add references to the reference section. Explore the Modern Language Association (MLA) citing format on the web site. Add references to Essay 1.
Week 1 Day 4
Email essay 1 to peer for peer review*.
For essay 2, review the questions for writing essay 2. Begin writing essay 2.
Homework: Finish writing essay 2.
Week 1 Day 5
By now you should have finished essay 2.
Today add references to the reference section. Email essay 2 to peer for peer review*.
Week 2 Day 1
Review essays 1 and 2; compare them to the rubric.
Review essay 3 questions and begin writing essay 3.
Week 2 Day 2
By now you should have finished essay 3.
Today add references to the reference section. Email essay 3 to peer for peer review*.
Week 2 Day 3
Review essays 1, 2, and 3.
For essay 4, review the questions for writing essay 4. Begin writing essay 4.
Homework: Finish writing essay 4.
Week 2 Day 4
By now you should have finished essay 4.
Today, add references to the reference section. Email essay 4 to peer for peer review*.
Week 2 Day 5
Compile essays in 4 different attachments. Name the files with your name, essay # and Problem, Alternatives, Policy, or Action, for example, “Smith-essay1-problem.”
Submit for grading to teacher by email.
*For peer review of the essays, students will, at a minimum, email their essays to the person on the class list immediately after them. The person at the end of the class list will email essays to the person at the beginning of the list. Students may seek additional peer reviews if they desire.
